Job Title: Event Producer

Location: Remote, with the ability to be onsite for site visits and events.

Our team is known for its creativity, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering flawless events. We are seeking an experienced and resourceful Event Producer to join our team.


Job Description:
As an Event Producer at Wilkinson Events, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of various events. This role requires a strong ability to manage all aspects of event production, from initial concept to on-site execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creatively driven, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning & Coordination: Develop detailed event plans that align with client needs. Manage event timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful execution.
  • Vendor Management: Source, negotiate, and coordinate with vendors, including venues, caterers, AV providers, and entertainment. Ensure all vendor services meet the company’s standards for quality and professionalism.
  • Event Design: Work with the design team to create innovative concepts and themes. Oversee the implementation of design elements such as decor, lighting, and ambiance to create a cohesive event experience.
  • On-Site Management: Lead the on-site execution of events, ensuring that all components come together smoothly. Coordinate with staff and vendors to address any issues that arise during the event.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked accurately and that the event is delivered within the agreed-upon budget.
  • Post-Event Reporting: Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event and identify areas for improvement. Provide feedback to the team as needed.


Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in event production or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and execute a variety of events.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and team members.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
  • A passion for the events industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.


Salary:
$50,000 - $55,000 DOE, plus 3% commission (on new booked business post-hire date)

(14) vacation days, (7) sick days


We offer a flexible work schedule with the convenience of a fully remote setup, requiring onsite presence only for events or site visits (approximately 4-6 times per month).
